I’ve always been fascinated by the innovation that technology creates. My passion for video games and game design has developed my skill set by looking at how interaction design, technology, and art all intersect to created unique, impactful experiences. It’s also taught me to approach challenges with different solutions and to be unafraid of trying something new.
It’s my interest in game design and theory that influenced my decision to study Art, Computer Science, and Global Studies in college. It also inspired me to spend an amazing year in Japan with a host family. It’s these combined experiences that have propelled me into a UX career. I enjoy looking at the world through different lenses when I’m placed in the role as an end user and how different disciplines come together to create experiences, whether it’s a website, video game, or product.
When I'm not problem-solving, you can find me trying a new restaurant, listening to David Bowie, playing the latest video game, or counting down the days until the next Marvel movie. Occasionally, I am also building or modding video games.
